The compact universal option for intra-regional transportation KamAZ-43253 is a two-axle truck with a 4x2 wheel arrangement, which has been produced by the Kama Automobile Plant since 2010 in the “onboard” and “universal chassis” versions. It is an improved version of the KamAZ-4325 truck, from which it differs by a new, more modern cabin with air suspension; new corporate KamAZ design. Intended for intra-regional transportation, therefore, it does not have a cabin with a berth, even as an additional option.

Design features: The restyled KamAZ-43253 is made on a time-tested frame platform with reliable spring suspension in front and behind. On all wheels of this truck model, drum brakes are installed with pneumatic drive, with drums with a diameter of 400 mm and brake linings with a width of 140 mm. The total area of the brake linings is 6300 cm².

The external turning radius of the KamAZ-43253 is 10 meters. The car is equipped with two rechargeable batteries of 190 Ah *, a 28-volt generator with a power of 2000 watts, a new rear-view mirror system, a three-brush wiper, fog lights, a ceiling plastic shelf with three compartments, upgraded sun visors, an adjustable steering column, and a driver's seat with adjustments and air suspension, instrument panel with anti-reflective coating, as well as a fuel tank of 350 liters. Type of wheels - disk; tires are pneumatic, can be either chamber or tubeless.

The on-board version and chassis, currently have a factory production index KamAZ-43253-69 (G5). The on-board modification is equipped with a standard cargo platform with metal folding sides. It can be equipped with a metal frame and a removable awning. The internal dimensions of the onboard platform: 5.162 mx 2.470 m. The height of the standard sides is 0.73 m. The loading height of the onboard platform is 1.425 m. The onboard version is intended, inter alia, to work as part of a road train, - together with the GKB-8350 trailer , which has the same size as the truck itself.

The universal chassis KAMAZ-43253 is used to accommodate a variety of special equipment. It is successfully used for the installation of concrete mixers and truck cranes, construction hoists and feed loaders, garbage trucks and tankers (including fire trucks), etc.
